reply Other solution for IMGBurn Permalink Submitted by MHDante (not verified) on Wed, 02/22/2012 - 05:50 If you are using imgburn, You can go to tools>settings>write> tick the box that says It only will burn in 2.4x to begin with, and when I try to select 1x it goes right back to 2.4 - using ImgBurn or Nero. During the write, it continues to do this test to get the best write throughout the whole CD; this is called "Running Optimum Power Calibration" (ROPC). But then I did a nice firmware update and now I am able to burn at any speed again like it was new! =) (although I like to stay at 8x
